Pin Cherry Jam
Pin cherries appear to be a North American fruit. I was never a huge fan but they and the jam are very popular. u auntie Lily wrote that she used to pick pail fulls of them for her mom. This is a recipe for pin cherry jelly.

Ingredients
12 cups pin cherries
3 cups water
6.5 cups white sugar
1 bottle pectin
Preparation
Bring the cherries and the water to a boil then simmer covered for 15 minutes. This should produce 3 cups of juice. Add the 6.5 cups of sugar and boil for one minute. add the bottle of pectin. Pour into jars.
