Crabapple Jelly
So crabapples were also nor my favorite things growing up. But the jelly was super popular where I grew up. Years later, living in Spain, we rented a place for awhile that had very crabapple looking apples. So I gave auntie Lily's crabapple jelly a whirl. PS it's July 20232 and auntie Lily just turned 99!!!!

Ingredients
12 cups pin cherries
3 cups water
6.5 cups sugar
1 bottle pectin
Preparation
Bring the cherries and the water to a boil then simmer covered for 15 minutes. This should produce 3 cups of juice. Add the 6.5 cups of sugar and boil for one minute. add the bottle of pectin. Pour into jars.
