Cornflake Cookies
One of my absolute favorites as a child. I could eat these all day. My mom said it was a recipe she found for children who may have allergies, especially to preservatives and other non-organic ingredients. Well both me, my brothers and my dad loved them.

Ingredients
1 cup butter or shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
½ tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups cornflakes
Preparation
Cream butter in a mixer and then add all other ingredients. Mix well. Drop from end of teaspoon onto a well-greased baking sheet. Bake at 325 F for 15 minutes.
