Cinnamon Rolls
Sadly this is not my Grandma's original Cinnamon Roll recipe. It was lost after she died and it is what prompted me to put together a repository of all of our family recipes. I have substituted below with Auntie Lily's recipe, which is also really good.
Grandma's cinnamon rolls were more like a knot and coated with I think brown sugar and cinnamon. I have tried Auntie Lily's rolls tying them in a knot and coating them with sugar and cinnamon, and it is pretty close to my Grandma's.

Ingredients
Dough:
4 cups milk, scalded not boiled
1 cup lard or shortening
1 package of yeast
4 eggs
1 tbsp salt
1 cup sugar
Flour - enough to make a manageable dough is what the instructions said. I used 12 cups and it probably could have used more.
Filling:
Butter
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
No amounts are provided in the recipe so just use your judgement!
Preparation
Mix the dough ingredients above together. Let rise until double the size or to test, insert one finger into the dough. If it is ready to be punched down, the finger mark will remain. Punch down the dough and the let it rise again, usually 2 hours.
Break off some of the dough and roll it into a rectangle. Add a generous amount of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Then roll it up and cut slices off so it looks like the photo above. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
